Besides under taking various other business and commercial activities, the Foundation has also established (M&T) unit with the following objectives:-

• To reduce un-employment.
• To contribute to awareness of emerging disciplines through Skill Development Courses.

Similarly, training institutes, the first one established in the year 1994, provide Skill Development Courses in the below given fields:-

• Optical fibre transmission system and cable jointing.
• Access Network Activity and Cable Jointing.
• Wireless local loop.
• Mobile Telephone Communication & repair / maintenance of sets.
• National Youth Development Program.

Presently such institutes are functioning at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad & Peshawar. 8836 students have been trained by these institutes whereas 246 students are presently under training. We intend to add four more such institutes in near future.
