Negotiated contracts with companies abroad for import of telecom equipments / components for assembling in local TF subsidiary engaged in manufacturing of telecom equipments
Restructuring and revival of a sick payphone company having accumulated losses of Rs.74 million 5 years back, which have been turned around now and ranks 5th among market leaders
Acquisition of majority shareholding of Pakistan Communications Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. along with management from a leading European based foreign investor. The company is now the only manufacturer of telephone sets in Pakistan. Negotiated contract and settled financial terms with a large manufacturer of telephone sets / components in China.
Raised loans / finance facilities at competitive rates from local banks for multimillion rupee projects including a building which is near completion.
Actively participated in preparation and submission of bids for multimillion dollar telecom related projects in Bangladesh. Made arrangements for obtaining standby letter of credit, security bonds & loan financing from foreign & local banks and supplier credits from Chinese manufacturers of telecom equipment.
Participated in financial decision making for investment in setting up an ISP company in Bangladesh with local participation.
Development and implementation of effective internal controls including service rules, purchase procedures, accounting and budgetary controls etc.

General Manager ( Finance) & Company Secretary
Telecom Foundation (TF) is a Trust established for the Welfare of employees of public sector organizations in telecom sector. It plans to achieve its targets through profit generation by setting-up Industrial Ventures and undertaking Commercial and service activities. It has established a number of Limited Companies and presently operates on an Annual Budget of one and a half billion rupees.
Main responsibilities and achievements in Supervision and Control of Accounts / Finance procedures include:
Re-organization of financial procedures to ensure better controls and accountability.
Supervising preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and their review / reporting.
Preparation of Budgets and Cash forecasts with periodic monitoring and reporting.
Ensuring all receipts / payments are properly authorized and processed through set-up procedures.
Financial appraisal of proposed future projects.
Evaluation and financial analysis of on-going subsidiaries and projects.
Supervising of Internal Audit with recommendations to improve systems
Dealing with matters relating to Income Tax, Sales Tax etc.
Supervising treasury functions and dealing with banks for raising loans and credit facilities.

Manager Finance
Shaheen Foundation is a Trust established for the Welfare of employees of Pakistan Air Force. It has undertaken about 20 Commercial and Industrial Projects including the Ist Cargo Service in Private Sector. The annual turnover of its projects was about 700 million rupees.
Main responsibilities and achievements is Supervision and Control of Financial procedures include:
Looking after the Finance and Accounts of Shaheen Foundation, Head Office and supervising the accounts of subsidiaries.
Reviewing of monthly Trial Balance and Accounts of all projects of the Foundation including manufacturing, servicing and consulting units .
Preparing periodic consolidation of Trial Balances, Profit and Loss Statements and Balance Sheets of the Head Office and is subsidiaries.
Carrying out periodic performance reviews of the activities of the Foundation including its subsidiaries and reporting thereon.
Carrying out Internal Audit, Projects Evaluation and financial analysis of ongoing and proposed projects.
Dealing with Banks and Financial Institutions and Insurance Companies.

O.P.F. is a Company established for the Welfare of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation and their families residing abroad or within country. OPF has undertaken a number of Welfare activities besides developing housing colonies as a shelter of OPs on their return from abroad.
Main responsibilities includes:
Supervising Finance and Accounts of Housing Division the largest department of the Foundation for purchase of land, development of Housing Schemes, construction of Schools, Hospitals and Civil Buildings.
Preparation of MIS reports, performance reviews, financial analysis, cash forecasts and budgets.
Dealing with the matters of taxation including filing of returns, pleading the cases before ITOs, Commissioners Income Tax and Appellate Tribunals.
